Monday Listicles

Hello my friends.

I know I rarely complain, but this week kicked my behind big time. Started with the trip to UCC, another doctors visit a few days later and ended with an epic stomach bug that my son and I lovingly shared this weekend. So I am a little grumpy and a whole lot tired. Please forgive me for not sharing photos with 10 bizarre things that can be seen in my walk in closet today. Trust me, not making it up! Wonder what is hiding in yours?

Last week was a great week for Listicles! My friend Ally chose a great topic and you all are amazing at quoting scenes from movies. I was truly impressed. Thank you for playing along.

After some crazy confusion caused by me and me alone I finally figured out what our next week’s topic will be: Wendy left a great suggestion in the comment a few weeks ago. So next week we are writing a list of 10 THINGS YOU THOUGHT AS A CHILD YOU WOULD DO/BE. I am turning a year older end of this month so it seems appropriate to celebrate with a list like that right?

OK, might not be the right thing to say, but I cannot wait to see what is in your closet!

10 THINGS FOUND IN MY CLOSET

1. A sword.

2. 3 LEGO robbers and 4 LEGO policeman.

3. Pointe shoes.

4. A pair of jeans from 1997. AKA wishful thinking.

5. Ear plugs.

6. 3 expired passports.

7. Mobile police unit.

8. A lot of dust.

9. Insanely bright yellow jacket.

10. X-ray.

    Ooh, sounds like you had a bout with that Norovirus that’s going around. Makes me afraid to leave my house. :P

    Great list–I can relate to the 1997 jeans. I have a few things in my closet that date from around then, when I was significantly smaller around the bum than I am now. I got rid of a lot of my old stuff, but this one pair that I spent too much on still live there… :)

      Yep, Norovirus hit us hard. I blame the kid ;) I have no idea why that jeans is still there, it is a few sizes too small. Never ever gonna happen…

    Boo to you and the little one being sick. So sorry. But as far as your closet goes, I REALLY hope the pointe shoes are yours . . . and I’m guessing the jeans (duh), the dust, the x-ray, and the yellow jacket. I feel like I’ve seen a picture of you in a yellow coat. Ellen

      It is a running jacket. I bought it online and it is so bright everyone in 2 mile radius must wear sunglasses. I hung it in the closet just to irritate my husband.

    While we haven’t had the Norovirus, knock on wood, we had the sniffle, stopped head, nasty cough thing going through here. I don’t think there is enough Lysol in the world . I have a bad habit of going deeper with these topics and I did it again.. Sighs…
