Happy chocolate bunnies and eggs for breakfast Monday!
First and foremost big woot woot to Miss Marina Star for picking up a great topic last week, guilty pleasures. You all have many but don’t feel all that guilty about them. That is so rad, made my week!
Next week ( inspired by US Weekly, which I never read) I thought we should make a list of 10 REASONS WHY CELEBRITIES ARE JUST LIKE US. Or not. Up to you…
This Monday, seeing how all of us would have driven somewhere to spend Easter weekend with friends and family, I thought we do a list about ten things ROAD. Turns out I don’t spend much time on the road. So I am exciting to see what your lists are about. Let’s go!
Make a list, check it twice, link it up. Read others. Have fun!
10 things that happen in my minivan
1. Dog farts.
2. Little J consumes 1/3 of his food intake. Mostly in form of dried fruit, mandarins and crackers.
3. At least two strange conversations per 10 minute commute.
4. 3.7 VW beetles spotted and at least one photographed for the PunchBug ultimate puncher championship entry.
5. At least two of those VW beetles I spotted a few times before. Small town thing…
6. Little J asks me something I really should google to answer correctly. Why are kids so clever?
7. All roads lead to a Starbucks drive thru. Fact.
8. The gas light comes on. Like all the time!
9. We listen to the F, G and Q song. And even after I drop Little J off at school I still find myself singing them.
10. I ignore the gas light.

I laughed out loud at dog farts. I just shooed Bailey out of here because he was stinking up the room with his gas. Great list Stasha!

I still am not over the fact that we don’t have a drive thru Starbucks near where we live. I also need to google for some of the questions my son asks but a lot of times I’ll go with “I don’t know but maybe we can ask dad tonight” – lol! Great list and I love the picture of the open road as well!

I love your list! It is indeed a fact that all roads lead to a Starbucks. At least around our neck of the woods they do!

Yes! We slug bug too! I LOVE that game and its not just because I get to punch Irishman for all the vw’s I see (or don’t see…shhhh).
Its mostly because of how many giggles and how much excited Lil Duck gets out of it!

Great list. I need no dog and here all roads lead to Timmy’s, then bathroom breaks. Loved playing punch buggy as a kid. Led to a few all out brawls in the back seat but hey.

I bet my 7 year old son can outstink your dog. I think it’s genetic….paternally speaking of course.
far more interesting than what they might ask of me, is the conversations a 7, 4, and 2 year old can have among themselves. golden blog fodder right there — if only I had a tape recorder.
lovely shot

All roads lead to a Starbucks for me too. Have you figured out how many miles you can go before you run out of gas yet? I have it down to a science now.

If my gas tank goes below 1/2 I get nervous, thanks to my dad’s neurosis. Dog farts filling a minivan…just plain awful!

Dog farts are horrid. He can get us on as short a trip as going to school. And I’ve run out of gas one too many times. Hate it.

Dog farts are gross!!! And if a road doesn’t lead to starbucks, it goes to another drive thru stand!
Twitter: SharonPfeiffer
I never thought about the ratio, but I bet my kids consume 1/3 of their food intake in the car, too. Fruit leathers, Zbars, water.
Starbucks drive thrus are the BEST. So are bank drive thrus, and dry cleaning drive thrus. What did I do before the drive-thru??
Hilarious list, Stasha!

Nice photo!Really beautiful! By the way: how do you manage to survive dog farts? My little puppy used to fart a lot in the car, and I always got sick from that.

Yikes! Dog farts. And I have to imagine that with a dog the size of yours, the farts, must be, well….able to fill your van. Do you also keep nose plugs on hand?
Thanks for the fun list topic this week!

I love having snacks in the car and so do my kids, but my husband is so anal about “his” car, that we are barely allowed to breathe in there, left alone eat.
I love road trips and as soon as my son gets over puking in the car all the time we are planning on driving down to Colorado.
As always, I just love your pictures!
