Monday listicles

Listicle time of the week!

Let us begin by wishing my neighbors Happy Canada day! And continue with celebrations this week. Happy 4th of July! Not to mention happy everything to everyone all over the world. Have fun and be safe!

Last week we did a great list to celebrate men. Fathers, husbands, parents. That one man that rocks your world. Thank you so very much Kim, it was a wonderful show our gratefulness to them. Can she pick a topic or what?

And just as I though I will have to get my 4 year old to pick a topic for next listicles, Deborah send me a tweet with a great suggestion. As you all know Nora Ephron past away leaving behind an incredible wealth of wit and wonderful writing, entertaining films and one of my all time favorite movie scenes ever. In her last book she listed THINGS SHE WILL MISS AND WHAT SHE WON’T.

Next week I encourage you to do the same. Thank you Mannahatta Mamma for a great idea!

10 RANDOM Q&A

1. Grab the book nearest to you, turn to page 23, and find line 4. What is it?

…foot to another, playing in her own spectacular world. It was a…

I won my copy at Cookie’s book club. Thank you Sue.

2. How many times a day do you say Hi?

At least twice.

3. Have you ever worn a uniform?

Yes. 2000-2007 almost every day at work. I like uniforms. Eliminates ‘what to wear’ drama. Also I wish all schools would go back to uniforms for pupils. It instils a sense of unity and cuts out differences in wealth and lifestyle among children.

4. What do you think about the most?

I look at the world in frames. So I guess images?

5. How many keys are on your keyring?

Three. I had to look cause I never use them. Always leave through the garage. To be honest I am not sure what the third key is for.

6. What was the last thing you bought?

I checked my Amazon since that is the only place I shop.

Placed an order on Saturday. I buy him a box a month as a treat.
For myself? A bag of fancy lemonade glazed pecans at farmers market.

7. Are you growing anything these days?

We have a lovely garden this year. Lots of flowers and vegetables. Little J is in charge of carrots, me everything else.
Also mold in the sink and dust bunnies practically everywhere.

8. What is under your bed?

Nothing at all.

9. What is most important in life?

Happiness.

10. What is the strangest word you used this week?

Haberdashery. It was on a puzzle Little J and I put together and it prompted a witty exchange with my friend Melveen.
