Virtually too busy

Sat down to check your email and two hours later you are pinning a craft project you will never do and checking if your high school boyfriend is single and miserable?

Sounds familiar? I know, me too. Apart from the boyfriend part, because I don’t have time for Facebook anymore. Between my blog here and another one on my professional site, Twitter and Pinterest I am fully booked. And because this simply wasn’t enough I find little gems like Houzz, a site about interior design and get lost for hours staring at and adding to my ideabook beautiful rooms that will never be mine. Then there is online window shopping and reading everyone else’s great blogs. Not to mention G+ and my overflowing reader. And entering all photography challenges. Followed by great blog link ups. The list is endless…

Needless to say I never respond to any of my emails. Although that is what I actually set out to do.

If you are just like me, this is your lucky day. This post is about absolutely nothing. So you can thank me for taking but a minute of your time and move on to pinning your dream holiday destination. You are welcome.

As I opened my laptop to tend to that email I sighed, “I don’t want to be here…”

And I’ve been here 10 minutes and still haven’t opened my email. But I HAVE been here :) xoxo

I myself is too busy with my daily work because I need to do a lot of stuff everyday and i need to manage my time accordingly. However, I can easily relate with what you have said here and I think time management is very important in this kind of situation.

Hmmmmm you sound like me lately!!!! I have barely had the ambition to write on my site just because everything else is sooooo hectic and email????Fuhget about it if it’s not to one of the bonus child’s teachers I don’t have time for it.

Love it! I don’t do Pinterest but Facebook and Twitter and Blogs suck me in and keep me for hours. It’s sad really. It’s amazing what actually captures my attention, too. It can be something as simple as a video about a cute kitten. I’ll view one, then of course I have to look at some other cute kitten videos, and so on and so forth. CRAZY.

Why do you have to tell me about interior design sites? I could’ve gone the rest of my life blissfully unaware that there’s more crap on the internet for me to look at. Oh well…off I go to take a look.

I do not know a single blogger or social media woman, momma etc who can not absolutely relate to this post. It so hard to stay focused when all it takes is getting online to give us all ADHD. Everything wants our attention, we pay attention to all of it but nothing too. Oh and that pic, I am sooo pinning it. Talk about awesome!!

I am trying not to get too caught up in the “extras” like Twitter, FB, Pinterest, and yes, now Google + added to that. For me, it is mostly just reading others blog and commenting, and writing my own posts. On those alone I could spend hours. I get lost in the craft of writing: mine and everyone elses’.
Since I have a degree in English Literature, I consider it time well spent. Just making sure that expensive piece of paper isn’t pointless.
    Love that visual puzzle though.

We’re so alike. I sit down to clean out my email, hop on Twitter instead, read blogs, start meal planning, get only 1 meal done, then Donut is up from her nap. And my email continues to be out of control…

My reader scares me. I always want to go there but then there are so many and I don’t. And then when I do I feel bad for missing out on so much. I can’t seem to find the right mix.

    Love the puzzle!
