What a great week this was for Monday Listicles.
We are getting more and more entries and thanks to Sara and her choice of theme I got to take a peek into your favorite places. I was surprised to see your beds on almost every list. It truly is the little things in life.
I cannot wait to see what Deborah has in store for us next week. As you all know: your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find her blog and the topic she would like us to write our next list about. To help you out a bit here are some facts on @mannahattamamma : she is a NY professor, currently living in the desert overlooking Arabian sea. When faced with baking she can be heard saying brilliant things like: “Frosting is Spanx for cakes”. Something tells me next week we will have fun with our lists.
This week I had a master plan. I was going to take amazing photos on our visit to Woodland Park Zoo, then let Little J pick his 10 favorite animals. But I am here to tell you crowds, wandering son and super sunny day are not the best conditions for picture taking. So I give you the list of 10 animals I kind of managed to snap. They don’t come close to the beauty of this Zoo.
I think you should give it a go and enter the giveaway for family tickets to Woodland Park Zoo. Details are in the above link and I promise you that it might not be a super fancy prize worth hundreds of dollars, but the memories you will make are priceless! If you are too far to visit our local Zoo you can still enter and surprise somebody with your winnings.
OK, enough said!
Make a list, check it twice, link it up. Read others. Have fun!
They are my favorite animal.
Little J said feeding Watoto, a 42 year old female African elephant, was his favorite part of the visit.
You can watch antics of Keema and Denali live 24 hours a day on WEBCAM.
Lazy snakes are a breeze to photograph.
I stopped to take some pictures just before we left the Zoo and this one was more then willing to pose.
I love apes, such characters.
They were all running around but this one was looking at me for ages.
What a poser this eagle was.
Little J and I read a book about why they are pink and he remembered!
I vote this the cutest behind in Woodland Park Zoo.
I am linking this weeks list to Chic Homeschool Mama Monday Rewind. Because it makes sense.
