Life is a beach

prompt number 3.) Photo Story: Share photos of your most recent trip to the beach.

It is no secret we live close to the beach. Also known and flaunted is the fact we spend most of the time there. So much so we have now staked out a lot all other beach goers refer to as my son’s “Construction site”.

But this trip was special. We have Isaac, neighbors dog, staying with us for a week. He is a Newfoundland, like Big M, only much older. Isaac celebrated his 10th birthday a few months ago. Old and ailing, he is full of spirit. You can see in these pictures his joy for life and love of the water keep him young.
Here is to you Isaac, the greatest dog his family could wish for. And the best neighbor ever.

      No, no, last Friday. But we did stay there so long clouds went away and blue skies followed for the rest of the day.

    Oh, such beautiful pictures! Newfoundlands are just amazing dogs. I’m not sure there is a more awe-inspiring dog. What a beautiful beach you live near!!

    WOW! Those are HUGE dogs! But they are so adorable! I love them. I love that last pic with ur son and the 2 dogs…all looking out to sea. =) You should frame that one!

    lovely! my mother is from the seattle area and I have such wonderful memories of visits, beach trips etc. sadly haven’t been out there in almost 10 years. your pics make me miss it so much!

    Your son should get a dog-drawn carriage. Those hounds are HUGE! Love the photos.

      Funny but that is what they were bred for back in the day. They were poor fishermen’s horse to pull the cart with their daily catch. But that was in Canada. My dog knows his rights :)
