Glad I asked

After putting Little J to bed Husband and I are sitting across from each other in the dinning room.

We are spending quality time with our laptops. I am chating on Twitter and he is catching up with his friends on Facebook. More then likely watching another honey badger video.

I decide to get myself a glass of water. Since my parents taught me good manners I offer one to Husband as well.

” I am not thirsty, thank you. But I will have a sandwich. On rye, toasted, two slices of prosciutto, cheese and butter on one side, mustard on the other.”

Isn’t marriage grand?

LOL! I grew up seeing this with my dad and mom :) so it made me laugh a lot. Ahh, the comforts a husband feels and receives from his wife! The funny thing is when my husband asks for something it kind of makes me happy in a silly way to be the one he is asking. Granted, I think I’ve asked him to get me something a time or two as well when he is getting up, but usually it’s a bit simpler than a sandwich, like a piece of chocolate!

I absolutely love the sign? Where did you get it? Or do you know where you can buy these kind of signs too?
Your husband’s reaction on the question was understandable, how smart he is. You were going to the kitchen anyway… :D .

Thank you Sarah. Somebody I follow on Pinterest had the sign pinned and I borrowed the photo. Wish I knew where to get it. I looked for the web address to send it to you, but could not find it.

That sandwich sounds delish. Hope he made you one while he was at it. Or did you make him the sandwich, eat half of it, and offer him the other half? Marriage. It’s all about compromise, right? HA.
